How contribution.club handles information when you use our website and mobile app.
About this policy
contribution.club provides tools for communities, fundraising, contributions, treasuries and messaging. This policy describes information used to operate those features.
Information we receive
We receive account identifiers, name, email and profile photo from Google or Apple when you choose those sign-in options. You may also provide a phone number, location, profile details, community memberships, messages, media, contribution and treasury records, payment references, and support requests. Service providers process technical information such as IP addresses, device details and logs.
How information is used
Information is used to sign you in, manage your profile and communities, deliver messages and notifications, record contributions, verify phone numbers and purchases, respond to support requests, and protect the service against misuse. Where applicable, processing relies on providing the service, legitimate interests in its operation and security, legal obligations, or consent.
Visibility and service providers
Your profile, membership and submitted content may be visible to community members, administrators or recipients according to the feature and its visibility settings. Public pages and publicly accessible media links can be viewed or shared by others. Infrastructure services from Vercel, Supabase and Google Cloud/Firebase support hosting, accounts, databases and files. Twilio handles phone verification; Resend delivers support emails. PayPal, Apple App Store and Google Play process purchases where offered; we receive transaction references and purchase status. These providers process information needed for their services under their own terms and privacy policies. For mobile-money contributions, we share your wallet phone number, selected provider, amount, currency and payment reference with PawaPay to process the payment with your provider, and receive its status.
Device storage and advertising
Cookies and device storage keep you signed in and remember preferences. Mobile versions may show ads through Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may use device or advertising identifiers, IP addresses and ad interactions for ad delivery, measurement and, where permitted by your choices, personalization. Use the app’s Privacy choices control when available and your device’s advertising settings to review choices.
How Google uses data on partner sites and appsStorage, retention and security
Information may be processed in countries other than yours by our service providers. Records are retained as needed for the service, security, dispute handling and applicable legal requirements; different records may have different retention periods. Access controls help protect information, but no system is completely secure. Avoid posting sensitive information in shared spaces.
Your choices and requests
You can edit available profile fields and manage sign-in permissions with Google or Apple. Revoking sign-in access does not itself delete your contribution.club records. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity; shared records and legal obligations may limit what can be removed. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, obtain a copy of your data or complain to a privacy authority.
